“Pennings” upscale furniture store: Interview with a saleswoman

How do you think people will experience digitally augmented furniture in 2020?
She sees a tremendous growth of the spread and integration of technologies inside the dwelling, both for improving the atmosphere living and working framework. Thus, allowing men and women to communicate in a more efficient and enjoyable way. She pretends that technology could be seen as the future in between acting as an intermediary or buffer for human beings to share experiences.
She thinks that every room will be augmented and connected through direct integration inside the architecture or within the equipment. (Mirror, bed, desk, fridge …)

How do you see the integration of natural and living element in the future dwelling?
She envisions spaces that inspire a sense of sanctuary. Rocks decked on the floor as steady meditative object, flowing water drawing sharp edges path through an interior with small bridges of concrete.

What will be the global aesthetic trend in the future dwelling?
She sees sharp and angular lines instead of round and curvy lines. Sharp lines are giving a sense of security within boundaries where can blossom sanctuary of colors as paintings in frames, plants in vases.
